Anemone blanda 'White Splendour' is a variety with very large flowers. The color is pure white with a soft pink glow on the outer petals. This is the most famous white cultivar of Anemone. It is excellent for naturalizing in grass, which is why this bulb is a great choice forcreating a flower carpet in your garden.

Grows well under deciduous trees or in a rock garden.

Features of Species or Group:
  This native of Greece and Turkey bears daisy-like flowers, usually in shades of blue, although white and pink forms are available. One of spring's early bloomers.

Features of Genus:
  Anemones, also known as windflowers, form a large and versatile group of plants. The flowers are often very colourful, and can be daisy-like with lots of petals, or cup-shaped, rather like poppies. Anemones flower in spring; the anemone coronaria will also flower in summer, depending on the planting time. They are excellent for cutting.

How to Plant Anemone Bulbs?
 

To plant Anemone Bulbs the bulbs should be planted with the nose of the bulb upward (or the roots facing downwards) and the White Splendour Anemone should be planted roughly 2" deep and 2" apart from one another.

Note: For some bulbs you may not be able to tell which way is up or down, in these cases just plant them on their side and they will adjust on their own.

When to Plant White Splendour Anemone?
  Anemone Bulbs are normally planted Mid Fall, and most White Splendour Anemone will begin to flower sometime in Early Spring.
