Add the frilly and unique look of Picotee Begonias to your shade garden or planters. This collection has a great sampling of all the varieties of Picotee Begonias we offer. Picotee begonias are lovely two tone blossoms in shades of orange, pink, peach or salmon. Start your begonia tubers late February to early March indoors to get a jump start on growing and increase bloom time. Or plant them outdoors in spring or early summer once the danger of frost has past.

Our Begonia tubers are a large and plump 2.5" across (6cm), the bigger the bulb the bigger the plant and therefore more blooms for you to enjoy! These bulbs will start to ship end of February. Start tuberous begonias indoor in late February for earlier summer blooms!

How to Plant Begonia Bulbs?

To plant Begonia Bulbs the bulbs should be planted with the nose of the bulb upward (or the roots facing downwards) and the Picotee Begonia Collection should be planted roughly 1-2" deep and 6-9" apart from one another.

Note: For some bulbs you may not be able to tell which way is up or down, in these cases just plant them on their side and they will adjust on their own.

When to Plant Picotee Begonia Collection?

Begonia Bulbs are normally planted spring, and most Picotee Begonia Collection will begin to flower sometime in summer.
