Caladium can be planted in any direction and will automatically reposition themselves for growing. Produce heart shaped leaves and are mainly grown for their foilage. Caladium grows faster in warmer weather.

  Native to South America, caladium do well in warmer climates.

How to Plant Caladiums & Elephant Ears?
 

To plant Caladiums & Elephant Ears the bulbs should be planted with the nose of the bulb upward (or the roots facing downwards) and the Carolyn Whorton Caladium should be planted roughly 3" deep and 4-7" apart from one another.

Note: For some bulbs you may not be able to tell which way is up or down, in these cases just plant them on their side and they will adjust on their own.

When to Plant Carolyn Whorton Caladium?
  Caladiums & Elephant Ears are normally planted Late Spring, and most Carolyn Whorton Caladium will begin to flower sometime in Mid Summer.
