This truly is a JUMBO plant! Simply an even larger version than its "parent", this incredible plant's leaves can reach 36-48" long and and 24-36" in width! The leaves are produced on top of 6 to 8 foot tall stalks and create a "tropical" feel in the garden. The Jumbo Elephant Ear loves the partial shade and having moist feet. This particular item is one of the largest bulbs we sell nearly 10 inch in circumfrance!

How to Plant Caladiums & Elephant Ears?
 

To plant Caladiums & Elephant Ears the bulbs should be planted with the nose of the bulb upward (or the roots facing downwards) and the Jumbo Elephant Ear should be planted roughly 8-10"" deep and 24-36"" apart from one another.

Note: For some bulbs you may not be able to tell which way is up or down, in these cases just plant them on their side and they will adjust on their own.

When to Plant Jumbo Elephant Ear?
  Caladiums & Elephant Ears are normally planted Mid Spring, and most Jumbo Elephant Ear will begin to flower sometime in Mid Spring.
