This amazing SUN tolerant variety of caladiums is great for adding texture and color to both beds and containers. Great for hanging pots and flowing borders, the foliage of the Red Frill Caladium is deep red with a green edge, coming to a very thin point at the ends. This plant looks beautiful when draped over the edges of suspended pots or landscape walls.

How to Plant Caladiums & Elephant Ears?
 

To plant Caladiums & Elephant Ears the bulbs should be planted with the nose of the bulb upward (or the roots facing downwards) and the Red Frill Caladium should be planted roughly 2-3"" deep and 9-12"" apart from one another.

Note: For some bulbs you may not be able to tell which way is up or down, in these cases just plant them on their side and they will adjust on their own.

When to Plant Red Frill Caladium?
  Caladiums & Elephant Ears are normally planted Mid Spring, and most Red Frill Caladium will begin to flower sometime in Mid Summer.
