This fancy leafy white with green veins plant loves the shade but can tolerate early morning and late afternoon sun. The Candidum is the ideal plant for use in patio boxes, window sills or as border plants. Also known as Angel Wings. You can start these indoors: Put a bit of potting soil, a little water and the bulb in a plastic bag. Poke a few air holes in the bag and place it near a heat vent. ( Needs 70� or higher) Once all danger of frost has passed, you may plant your started caladium outdoors.

	Caladium can be planted in any direction and will automatically reposition themselves for growing. Produce heart shaped leaves and are mainly grown for their foilage. Caladium grows faster in warmer weather.

Features of Genus:
		Native to South America, caladium do well in warmer climates.


How to Plant Caladiums?
			To plant Caladiums the bulbs should be planted with the nose of the bulb upward (or the roots facing downwards) and the Candidum Caladium should be planted roughly 2-3" deep and 6-9" apart from one another. Note: For some bulbs you may not be able to tell which way is up or down, in these cases just plant them on their side and they will adjust on their own.
When to Plant Candidum Caladium?
			Caladiums are normally planted spring, and most Candidum Caladium will begin to flower sometime in summer.
