Grow the Starburst Caladium in your shadiest part of your garden to add a bit of color and warmth. This caladium, known as a "shortie" will look great in the foreground or as a border plant with its' pink and green leaves which feature white veins. The Starburst Caladium can grow up to 12 to 18 inches tall.
You can start these indoors: Put a bit of potting soil, a little water and the bulb in a plastic bag. Poke a few air holes in the bag and place it near a heat vent. ( Needs 70� or higher) Once all danger of frost has passed, you may plant your started caladium outdoors.

How to Plant Caladiums?
			To plant Caladiums the bulbs should be planted with the nose of the bulb upward (or the roots facing downwards) and the Starburst Caladium should be planted roughly 1-2" deep and 9-12" apart from one another. Note: For some bulbs you may not be able to tell which way is up or down, in these cases just plant them on their side and they will adjust on their own.
When to Plant Starburst Caladium?
			Caladiums are normally planted Spring, and most Starburst Caladium will begin to flower sometime in Summer.
