Features of Genus:

There are over 80 species of crocus, mainly late winter and spring flowering, but there are some autumn bloomers, too. Crocus are mostly native to the countries around the Mediterranean Sea where they usually grow as far east as Afghanistan.

How to Plant Crocus Bulbs?

To plant Crocus Bulbs the bulbs should be planted with the nose of the bulb upward (or the roots facing downwards) and the Dorothy Crocus should be planted roughly 2" deep and 2" apart from one another.

Note: For some bulbs you may not be able to tell which way is up or down, in these cases just plant them on their side and they will adjust on their own.

When to Plant Dorothy Crocus?

Crocus Bulbs are normally planted Late Fall, and most Dorothy Crocus will begin to flower sometime in Mid Spring.
