Features of Species or Group:

Freesia is a genus of 14-16 species of flowering plants in the family Iridaceae, native to Africa. They are herbaceous plants which grow from a corm 1- 2.5 cm diameter, which sends up a tuft of narrow leaves 10-30 cm long, and a sparsely branched stem 10- 40 cm tall bearing a few leaves and a loose one-sided spike of fragrant narrowly funnel-shaped flowers.

How to Plant Value Packs?

To plant Value Packs the bulbs should be planted with the nose of the bulb upward (or the roots facing downwards) and the Mixed Freesia Value Pack should be planted roughly 2-3" deep and 3-4" apart from one another.

Note: For some bulbs you may not be able to tell which way is up or down, in these cases just plant them on their side and they will adjust on their own.

When to Plant Mixed Freesia Value Pack?

Value Packs are normally planted spring, and most Mixed Freesia Value Pack will begin to flower sometime in summer.
