Taxonomy  The classification of organisms based on genetic similarities.  
Temperature (in colors)  The difference between cool and warm colors. 
Tepals  Bloemblaadjes, leaves. 
Tesselated  Checkered in little squares.  
Tint  A color to which white has been added. For example, white added to green makes a lighter green tint. Value changes from pure hues are called tints and shades. Tint can also refer to the name of whatever hue is dominant in a color. 
Tone  A quality of a color, such as its tint, shade, value or brightness or to create such a quality in a color. To tone down is to make a color less vivid, harsh, or violent. To tone up is to make one become brighter or more vigorous. 
Topsoil  Dark in color and crumbly, this is the better layer of soil. 
Triumph group  Single flowered cultivars, stem of medium length, spring flowering. Originally the result of hybridization between cultivars of the Single Early Group with the Single Late Group. 
Tuber  A short and thick swollen, generally underground organ, often but not always capable of producing shoots. 
Tuberous  Producing tubers. 
Tunic  The covering of a bulb or corm.
