Pink Renown Single Late Tulips have a bright pink flowers. Single late or Mayflowering tulips are some of the tallest tulips and oval egg shaped flowers are the last to bloom. They are good cut flowers, and for beds and borders

Grasslike, narrow leaves and dark-violet funnel shaped flowers that do well in borders, but should be placed in well drained soil and full sun. Long floweringperiod. Leucocoryne also does very well in containers. Can hibernate in pot in a warm place.

  Native to Chile, the Glory of the Sun as they are commonly known as, give a quite enchanting display of color. These bulbs have much going for them; their fragrance and their length of time in bloom are both tremendous. The flowers can be thought of as the counter parts of Alliums, sadly enough they cannot survive very cold winters. They are great cut flowers and look very impressive in borders, beds and pots.

How to Plant Single Late Tulips?

 

To plant Single Late Tulips the bulbs should be planted with the nose of the bulb upward (or the roots facing downwards) and the Pink Late Tulip Renown - 20 bulbs should be planted roughly 6-8" deep and 4-6" apart from one another.

Note: For some bulbs you may not be able to tell which way is up or down, in these cases just plant them on their side and they will adjust on their own.
