Muscari botryoides Album is the white variety of grape hyacinth. In mid-spring, pure white tiny, bell-shaped florets bloom in dense clusters onto 6-8" spikes. Like all Muscari, they grow in full sun to part shade - full sun encourages greater vigor and tighter clusters, but part shade can extend bloom life. Muscari require well-drained soil; amend compacted or clay soil with compost to improve drainage. They perennialize easily and reward you with loads of flowers every spring. Plant some under deciduous trees and shrubs, in fronts of borders or along pathways, in rock gardens, or mixed container gardens.
White Grape Hyacinths pair well with contrasting colored Blue Moon or Grape Hyacinths as well as brightly colored tulips like Pinocchio Greigii, Red Impression, or Passionale.
