The vibrant red-orange and yellow striped blooms of the Autumn Red Daylily (Hemerocallis) will be a happy addition to your perennial garden. A vigorous grower, these plants come one root per package and will reach about 12" high. This daylily is very fragrant and it thrives in the sun or the shade - however more sun will encourage more blooms.

Tip: The petals of daylilies are edible - add them to salads for a splash of color and a wonderful peppery taste.

How to Plant Perennials?
			To plant Perennials the bulbs should be planted with the nose of the bulb upward (or the roots facing downwards) and the Autumn Red Daylily should be planted roughly 1-2" deep and 12-18" apart from one another. Note: For some bulbs you may not be able to tell which way is up or down, in these cases just plant them on their side and they will adjust on their own.
When to Plant Autumn Red Daylily?
			Perennials are normally planted Spring, and most Autumn Red Daylily will begin to flower sometime in Summer.
