Features of Species or Group:

Native to Turkey, the Caucasus, Iran, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon. Is found in wild at quite high elevations, near melting snow, in grasses.

Features of Genus:

Puschkinia is one of the hardiest bulbs around. It is a member of the lily family and a cousin to Chionodoxa. The early blooming bulbs produce loosely clustered white blooms. The Puschkinia's are pleasantly scented.

How to Plant Unique Fall Bulbs?

To plant Unique Fall Bulbs the bulbs should be planted with the nose of the bulb upward (or the roots facing downwards) and the Libanotica Puschkinia should be planted roughly 2" deep and 2" apart from one another.

Note: For some bulbs you may not be able to tell which way is up or down, in these cases just plant them on their side and they will adjust on their own.

When to Plant Libanotica Puschkinia?

Unique Fall Bulbs are normally planted Mid Fall, and most Libanotica Puschkinia will begin to flower sometime in Mid Spring.
