Pros:
  • The price was great.
Cons:
  • Bulbs were already sprouting on arrival.
I know that I ordered late, which was a big mistake, but I did not see any ads before that. Well, some of the bulbs were already sprouting by the time I got them, and I was unable to actually plant them outside because where I live the dirt in my planters was already frozen. I have them individually in small pots in the coolest room of my house, with the temperatures below freezing every night now. I hope they will be okay and overwinter in here until the spring (which is late in northern Idaho). They did get to me quickly, so it is was not the fault of Tulip World. They did their part. I am hoping for a good turnout for my Saffron Crocus. Thank you Tulip World.

New gardener, have never grown crocus before but was intrigued with the prospect of getting even one dish made with saffron. I had my doubts that the croms would even sprout so late, but they have! Still hoping for blooms.

Beautiful little bulbs, planted them around a tree and wasn't sure about sunlight but they came up and bloomed much to my neighbors delight!!! Sweet little fall colors before the hard die off. Very happy 😊 ? 😀

Pros:
  • Bulbs sprouted
Cons:
  • Too late delivery
Got bulbs around September 22, planted within 2 days. Nothing happened for 6 weeks. Finally have green sprouting. But we have had numerous frosts so I am covering every night. No blooms yet! It seems they were sent a month late. Hoping I get blooms before they freeze.
