I planted in Illinois 75 akebonos on nov 7th, 2020, every single bulb emerged. Huge size bulbs and great quality. Didn't use any fertilizer and planted on a heavy clay soil, so I was surprised to see them performing that well. I have a lot of pictures, didn't find a way to apload them here.

Good size bulbs, easy to plant and grow. I love the sweet pale but energizing yellow color of this Tulip. Aaong with my other tulips, it added beauty to my naked garden. I planned to keep this variety and ass more in the future.
