The Mixed McKana Hybrid Columbine (Aquilegia) is a favorite among the midwest as it's nectar-filled tips attracts many hummingbirds and butterflies! Columbine produce large, bi-color blooms of yellow, white, pink, purple and blue. Bring color to your shady rock, natural or woodland gardens with these naturalizing, showy blooms.

Tip: Columbines planted close to each other may produce new hybrids as they cross-bread easily. This will bring new and exciting colors to your garden!

Pros:
  • Fast starter
Cons:
These roots came ready to grow! I may have planted too late for blooms this year. But, I feel certain I will have beautiful blooms next spring. There is a good amount of new foliage in less than 2 weeks from planting. I am very happy especially since I got them from the spring overstock sale at a equally beautiful price! Thanks again TW

Cons:
P purchased this product in late March and planted in April. All three plants grew, unfortunately, a critter (most likely a slug) cut one of them down. I'm waiting for the other two to get big enough for the flowers to bloom so I can see what color I have. Good product.
