Splendid Cornelia Hyacinths are a light purple fragrant hyacinth. Pre-chilled bulbs are perfect for gardeners living in areas that do not get cold enough temperatures for their bulbs to bloom. Pre-chilled bulbs are also great for indoor forcing, which creates indoor blooms.

*Our pre-chilled bulbs are ready for shipping starting in mid-December. By this time they have received the minimum amount of cold temperatures required for forcing and flower bud production.*

You can complete this "forcing" process indoors or out. If you need more help on forcing, please refer to our help section it has everything you need to succsefully force flower bulbs!

If you have received your pre-chilled bulbs in early December, they may need 4 more weeks of chilling. After January the bulbs will have received 12+ weeks of chilling, and do not require any additional chilling. If you are not able to plant your bulbs immediately upon receiving them, it is important to continue chilling them in cold storage such as a refrigerator, cold garage or cold shed until you are able to plant.

This is my first year try to grow something in hot desert AZ (zone 10). I ordered bulbs from serval different companies but so far I am very happy with Tulip World; I ordered 4 orders from them on January 20 and today is January 26 and I am so excited to received all but minus 1 that out stock , they are to kind that gave me a coupon code for free delivery in the future. All bulbs came in healthy and already have green stems on them so I am sure they will grow. Thank you Tulip World, will order again soon.

Thanks for having pre-chilled bulbs available Tulip World. These arrived in a timely and well packaged manner.
Roots began sprouting 24 hrs after placed in a water filled vase. A real joy to watch them grow.
