Scarlet Heaven Itoh Hybrid Peony has been called one of the best red peonies available, and we agree! Single blooms up to 7" across are deep scarlet with bright cheery yellow centers. Itoh hybrid peonies have strong sturdy stems like a tree peony that do not require staking. Maturing at 2.5' tall, Scarlet Heaven makes a great addition to the perennial border, and can also be used as an accent plant. Itoh hybrids bloom longer than traditional peonies, and produce an abundance of flowers in addition to their long bloom time. Once these hardy perennials are established, they will live in the same location for decades. Deer resistant, makes a great cut flower, and is slightly fragrant.
