Although this is marketed as a mid-spring tulip, this was one of the first to bloom in my garden this year! Gorgeous color and the leaves were different too. A bit of a cream color along the edges. So pretty.

One of the few tulips that appeared just as pictured in the website photos! They have cool toned leaves and don't grow very tall - about a foot in height. I'm in zone 7B in NY and these were the last to bloom among the "mid-spring" category of tulips. Their blooms lasted about 2 weeks for me but I think it's still worth planting for their beauty. Near the end of their bloom cycle, the petals open up and you can see a complimentary orange tone at the throat of the flower.

I can't describe how attractive these tulips are. The bloom has a combination of pink and deep fuchsia and the bonus is the leaves have a blue green color with a white edge! Magical!
