Mmmmm, Scrumdiddlyumptious are the blooms on this peony! Scrummdiddlyumptious Peony is an Itoh peony, which are hybrid varieties between tree peonies and herbaceous peonies. The large, showy blooms are creamy yellow with blush pink edges....

My First Itoh Peony

Pros:
  • price
  • quality
  • healthy looking
Cons:
I received the two peonies nicely packaged in good order and was pleasantly surprised how large the roots were. I planted them within a day and now they are both about 4-5 inches tall and look happy. I don't expect any blooms for a while, but I can't wait. So far the experience has been very positive and would order from Tulip Word without hesitation.

Just received my roots and I was pleasantly surprised. They are a decent size, look healthy, and they all had 1-2 buds on them. Now we wait and see what happens next spring!

I received the order in good condition, the plant had 3 eyes. Time would tell if it survives ,at this moment it is dormant underground.

Pros:
  • speed and quality
Cons:
  • instruction not clear enough
This peony arrived unexpectedly quick and in excellent conditions. Many eyes have grown into shoots in a couple of weeks. However I do hope that there is a marker, such as a ribbon indicating the point it should be buried under the soil since it a a root division and the crown is not discernible. And the crown should go into the soil 1-2 inch deep.
