4.67 stars, based on 12 reviews
Cora Louise Itoh Peony is a beautiful addition to your garden beds. Lush green leaves stay strong all season, and the sturdy stems hold up the 8-10" diameter blooms well. No staking is necessary to keep the blooms upright for the Cora Louise Itoh...

Cons:

Cora Louise arrived healthy and looking great. I planted her right away carefully following all instructions. She emerged this spring, put up several leaves and has continued to slowly grow.

Though the suspense is killing me, I know the old adage remains true "1st year sleep, 2nd year creep, 3rd year leap" and appreciate, she is still in her slumber phase.

This is an investment peoney and I would much rather have a slow growing healthy plant than a fast growing one with a poorly developed root system (looking at you big box stores with your chemically forced development and high post-purchase flops).

Tulip World sets you up with a healthy root, and clear, direct, specific instructions on what to do for success from there.

I had been dreaming of this plant for months and purchased one at full price with a gift card as part of a birthday present and felt it was a great value. To my surprise, it went on sale very, very late in the season i believe I recall there is highly limited stock and I grabbed one or two of the remaining handful. I'm so happy I did. All of these are doing well with beautiful, healthy looking leaves. Fingers crossed for the first blooms next year once they have established their root system and can handle supporting said blooms (again the target being long term healthy plants over the next a few decades, rather than a bloom or two today)

Cons:
I recieved my roots, they were very healthy.

I can't wait for them to start growing. I know peonies take time, so next year I know they will be beautiful.
