Root was plump, firm, with several eyes 'peeping'. Excellent price for well-regarded older variety. Anxious to see and SMELL it flowering in a few years!

An update!

Cons:
Overwintered this peony in a 5 gallon bucket (planted) in my unheated garage (zone 6A) as ground was too hard to work. Watered weekly without any other special care. By March stems were growing. Now, late May, there is one HUGE bud ready to burst open....FIRST year! I am delighted with 'her' performance so far, especially as such a great price!

Pros:
  • Color
  • strong stems
Cons:
  • Nothing
I bought the bulb on sale, but the next sping I got the most beautiful flowers, multiple huge flowers, from that one peony division. I loved the color, the pink blush, and strong stems of Fawn. Recommend

Good but small

Pros:
Cons:
The root is firm, fresh, with 4 eyes, but the size is quite small. I bought it when it's on sale, so overall it's not bad. Anxious to see how it would grow in spring.
