To my delight, this lovely peony bloomed this year after planting last fall! Soft, ladylike color and beautiful form! Didn't have a strong scent, but many of my normally fragrant peonies didn't either...I am blaming a cooler-than-normal, wet Spring.

I got this when the site was on sale. It was very cheap compared to other sites for the same variety. They were all in the ground now. Let see how these perform in 2 years.

The tuber appeared healthy on arrival, and produced some foliage in Year 1. Year 2 produced 3 beautiful blooms in classic Catharina Fontijn colors. I look forward to more next year. Zone 7b, heavy clay soil.
