Will the blooms ever end?



Gosh I hope not. For the last month, they just keep going up up up the stock. And I swear the stock just keeps on growing! I am eyeball to eyeball with the tip and it is so much fun to watch the wave of blooms continued to progress. The stems are sturdy and bloom color vibrant. Even after the blooms have past, the dried blooms are still interesting to look at as it forms an ombre down the stock.



These are a little bit higher of a price point than I typically go for however, they are such a focal point. I am so happy I purchased them and am so excited to buy more this coming season. I planted several around my bird bath to give a little coverage and encourage the birds to use the area. They seem to love it. I enjoy watching the blooms sway in the breeze above the lower waves of phlox, butterfly weed, beautyberry, and spiderwort.



I am glad I added a couple plant steaks with a loop at the time I planted the roots as this way, I was sure I did not skewer the roots with the stake and the steak gave extra support on the windier days of spring (they really do get 5FT+ high!)
