The recipient loved it and enjoyed the multiple blooms. It was easy to care for and no pot needed.

I sent about 20 of my family and friends a waxed amaryllis bulb as a winter surprise. Delivery of the bulbs was much better than I expected -- within 2 weeks, even though it was Xmas. I've gotten glowing reviews and beautiful photos of the resulting gorgeous flowers. I expected the bulbs to take longer to flower (6-8 weeks); however, I think they are flowering in only about 4 weeks. Not one bulb was a dud! Great gift!

My only disappointment: About a third of people to whom I sent bulbs did NOT receive directions, which resulted in a little confusion; and one person did not receive the gift tag, so it was a mystery gift until I contacted that person.

I gave this to my mom as a Christmas gift. The shipping was fast and it was packed very well. It looked beautiful upon arrival and had a few leaves already sprouting up. It was blooming within the week and it keeps going and going and going! The gift that keeps giving.

One piece of advice is that the waxed tulip does not require any soil or water... ever. Unless you decide to plant it in the ground once it has gone dormant. No bright light, either. It's so simple which makes this even better. All you have to do is look at it. Love it and would buy again.
