I love to give these as gifts and have ordered waxed amaryllis from various places over the years. Tulip World has my favorite colora and some ofmthe best and longest blooms I have seen! I will definitely buy from here again. Also great customer service!

So unique and I was worried that it wouldn’t grow without water and soil. I love it!

I purchased 6 wax-covered amaryllis, 3 silver and 3 gold on Nov. 13, 2018. They arrived within the expected time frame, well-packaged and undamaged. Today is December 19, and all bulbs have one, if not two, flower stems. I expect to have 1 blossom on Christmas Day and a beautiful showing of red blossoms over the next two months. Thank you Tulip World for my no muss no fuss holiday cheer!

Thrilled with this purchase

I often grow amaryllis bulbs in the traditional way, but many friends and colleagues aren't interested in tending plants, and a few of them aren't allowed to have plants in the workspace, but this little bulb surpassed expectations - and, apparently, hospital rules about what is and isn't allowed in offices - so I've been thrilled to make so many people happy during the holiday season with such a simple and guaranteed to bloom gift. Knowing there is no expectation to water or provide sufficient light or maintain the bulb for another season seems to relieve any of the usual plant fears, and the bulb's diminutive size relative to the outsize pleasure it seems to produce has made it a gift I will rely on in future. Though maybe next time I won't give them all away but will keep one for myself!
