Large, healthy bulbs!

As an avid gardener I've searched for exceptional looking flowers for Spring for many years. I found Altruist at lease 5 years ago, but the price prohibited me from buying them. Even at Tulip World's full price, they cost less than any other offers I've seen, so I took a chance. At the first sale price they were worth the risk of buying them from a company I had not worked with before. The bulbs were larger than expected, so I was thrilled when I saw the package. Unfortunately, 9 of the 25 were of poor quality, mushy or extremely dried out, so I felt I had to toss them, but the 16 I had left were still a bargain compared to what other companies charge and were large and very viable.



I must thank Tulip World for packaging in groups of 25 instead of 10 like many vendors do. It makes a loss acceptable, if you still have enough for a decent grouping, and paid the same as you might for the smaller group from another vendor.

Only about 2/3 of these Altruist bulbs were viable (ordered in Oct received in Nov). This was the only variety I had problems with and I bought over 700 daffodil bulbs of various varieties in Fall. I contacted customer service and they sent me a replacement bag at no cost/quick shipping and no questions (but I did provided photos in my request for replacements). Only 1/2 of the replacement bulbs were viable, mostly dried out dust shells, but some were mushy. In all I was made whole and easy to get replacements.

I love these sweet daffodils. They just make me want to smile as I'm walking the spring garden and enjoying their joy as they sway in the breeze! Great bulbs and all grew. Multiple flowers on each stalk and they just keep coming!
