Purchases Ferncliff Illusion Dinnerplate Dahlia in the winter, the root arrived in the spring, it started blooming at the end of July and still blooming with many closed buds to become flowers. The plant is tall, over 4 feet at this point. Flowers are large, white in the middle and elegant purple on the edges. They were planted in ceramic containers this year, but will go into the ground in 2026. Very happy with is these once!
The tubers were great...looking forward to blooms in August, hopefully.
I purchase the dinner plate dahlia, planted it and within just a week it was green and growing. It's still growing strong and I'm waiting for the flowers. I purchased a little late in the season so I may not get flowers this year, however, living in the south we have a longer summer so I might still. looking forward to them to the blooms. Recommend Tulip World!!
