Although I ordered these bulbs a little late, I managed to plant them and get blooms just in time, a week before my first surprise frost (Zone7). The flowers were beautiful with different colors and the various textures of the flowers were also a plus.

The only little con about the bulbs where they are around 10/12cm, so the flower size were big but not B I G if you know what I mean. But I'm sure If you plant them two weeks before your average last frost date, give them food AFTER they put on a couple of leaves and after you cut the bloom off, you'll have some nice big bulbs when you dig them up for next year!

Big, Firm bulbs

Rating:

Pros:
  • Large bulbs
  • Great quality
  • Ready to be planted
Cons:
The bulbs arrived healthy and firm. There was only one in the entire pack that looked less than glorious (slightly soft, with extensive scarring and a small amount of mold- she went to the trash). Appear to have been pre-treated for thrips and have grown quickly. All started to sprout within the first week and are over 12" tall despite their untraditionally late planting.

I’ve had some health problems, so my husband planted my gladiolus. Lucky I had ordered the little auger to use on a drill to plant your bulbs. Now I am so excited, waiting for them to bloom. They have all broke ground and some are about 7” tall. Can’t wait!!!!!!!
