Pros:
  • Price
  • shade tolerance.
Cons:
I got these on a discount last year not expecting anything crazy and they all grew quite vigorously and bloomed! I didn't thin I would get flowers the first year, but I got quite a spectacular show! This spring they're looking quite lively!

A collection of shade loving gems

Pros:
  • Easy to grow from bare root
  • Shade loving
Cons:
Purchased these 2024 and started the bare roots in gallon pots. Wintered over well. Planted them in the garden this spring. They are beginning to bloom their delicate pinks and whites. The texture of these go very well with the bleeding hearts they share space with. Very happy with the quality and success of bare root planting for the first time.

After 2 months all of the Astilbe plants are doing great!

Pros:
  • Arrived quickly
  • growing well
Cons:
  • Not labeled by color
It's been about 2 months since I planted the bare roots in pots. Some of them immediately grew leaves, a couple of them just started to have leaves, but all of them are alive & well. I buried the pots right in the ground so that I'll be able to easily move them around once they flower & I can see the colors. I would definitely recommend these.
