Astilbes seem to be hard for me to grow in 6b. It's been a wet spring and I put them in pots to get them started. Three of 5 are growing slowly. It looks like a squirrel dug up one. They have been in the ground for 2 months at least.

Second order of Astilbe from Tulip World. First grew AWESOME and just planted the second set in a few bare shady areas in my gardens. I am hopeful as I have had great luck in the past with the bare astilbe roots.

I planted these in a new partial shade garden this spring. They all grew in amazingly fast and I can't wait for blooms! The packs arw a great value for filling new perennial gardens.

I purchased the mixed astilbe (5 plants in all) in March and planted them within a few days of receiving them. All are growing beautifully and will soon be blooming. Very happy with this product.
