Orienpet Lilies, also known as OT Lilies, have the best traits of two popular lilies! These hybrid lilies are crossed between Oriental Lilies and Trumpet Lilies. Reaching heights of 4-6', these stately lilies stand out in the Summer garden. Fragrant blooms face outward and upward similar to that of both Oriental Lilies and Trumpet Lilies.
Orienpet Lilies are hardy in zones 4-9 and do best planted in full to part sun. Lilies are carefree but do require soil that drains well. Plant lilies 6-8" deep spaced 9-12" apart.
* Please note: Due to the life cycle of this item, it is harvested in late Summer by our suppliers and does not arrive to to us from Holland until early to mid-October. Therefore, all orders containing this item will begin shipping in mid to late October, according to the hardiness zone.

When to plant Lily bulbs?
Plant lily bulbs in fall when the daytime temperatures have cooled to the 60’s or lower during the day.
How to plant Lily bulbs?
Lily bulbs have a pointed end which should be planted facing up. Dig 6-8” deep and plant in well-drained soil, place the bulb in the hole and fill the hole back in with soil to cover the bulb. If any growth sprouts are visible on the bulb at the time of planting they should be covered with soil when filling the planting hole back in.
Where to plant lily bulbs?
Oriental Lilies, Asiatic Lilies and Orienpet Lilies grow 2-4’ tall depending on variety. Therefore, they are best planted in the middle to back of the planting bed. Lilies grow best in full sun, although in warmer climates part sun is helpful. The soil should be well drained for best growth results. Lilies are hardy in zones 4-9.
These are really healthy looking bulbs. I planted them right away and am looking forward to them coming up and blooming because they look gorgeous in the picture.
