I was so excited to plant these. I got them in winter and planted them in February, zone 8b. They all plumped up very nicely with the presoak and sprouted indoors. We get heavy rain which I think had a negative affect on my corms, but most of them still bloomed at least once. There were some unique colors mixed in, like a salmon with curly petals and a couple of picotee. They didn't seem very double and fluffy like the picture showed, but they were still pretty. I saved the corms and plan to plant again. A good value for a beautiful flower if you have the right growing conditions.
planted these only last month and now I see tiny sprout.
I’m in zone 7a. I planted these in October, in a hoop house with a small space heater. These and the anemone bundle are blooming like crazy. Our springs get too hot to fast, to plant them out in spring. They won’t last long. But, I’ve had great success with fall planting and cold protection. The blooms are progressively larger and it is so refreshing to have them, in the middle of winter. It took about 3 months for them to first start budding.
