I purchased peony roots in the past from Tulip World and they were so tiny, they shriveled up and died, so I was really apprehensive about purchasing again, but at this price for a yellow Itoh peony, I went for it. This root was much larger and had 4 eyes on it. I am excited for the spring. Usually I anticipate waiting three years, but this root was great and I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't bloom this approaching spring.

I planted this peony root in Oct. in the north and it was so healthy and had multiple eyes.. Can't wait to see it next spring... I was really impressed by the healthy look of it, compared to other companies that I have bought from.

The bulbs arrived in healthy, generous sizes. I bought several more from another major home improvement store. The ones from Tulipworld has already leafed out and grown out evenly to about 8 inches tall whereas my other purchase has not. The leaves are dark green and and looks like a bonsai trees at 8 inches in the landscape. It's only early spring now so I am looking forward to seeing more growth. The others from another store has not leafed.

These are sold as bare roots but take off quickly and grow to the listed height. No blooms yet but very happy with the quality.

Fast shipment, there are 4 healthy buds, I planted it in the ground right away. Will see what happens in the spring
