Muscari botryoides Album is the white variety of common grape hyacinth. Like all Muscari, they need a warm and sunny spot in the garden. Then they will perennialize easily and reward you with lots of flowers each year.
Armeniacum is the best known of the Muscari-species. True blue scented flowers, very nice along the edge of a path with Campanula portenschlagiana or Dianthus deltoides. Can be used in containers as well with for instance Puschkinia scilloides libanotica when forcing.
Otherwise known as Chionodoxa forbesii. Chionodoxas are most effective in large groups under deciduous trees and in front of early-flowering shrubs. Though short stemmed, they live long in cut flower arrangements. Either in sun or dappled shade, they will flower everywhere.
